![]() In a high AG/stunty league it might well be worth taking one and see how you go.Dark Elves have only changed slightly under the second season rules and their Assassin’s are now 5k cheaper than they used to be. So - YMMV and it depends on the environment you're playing in. And if you're up against a tougher team which is all AV9+ they're suddenly just an expensive liability. ![]() They work well against stunties but the value of the removals is less. For targeting low AV pieces with block/dodge they're fairly useful (not a total slam-dunk, but useful) so against elves or Skaven - great. The assassins themselves are either useful or not depending on your opponent. This gets you a lot of MA7, but will bloat TV and gives you potentially 6x high-value AV8+ pieces which will be targets. The other build is fun but I think less competitive, and is the Max Speed / Max Gimmick build, where you're taking all the witches, runners, and assassins you can, on top of your Blitzers. Keep your AV8+ pieces few, so you're not too vulnerable to removals, and focus on creating a wall of Blodge that is really hard to damage or pin down. I feel like there are 2 ways to build Delves, and the smart one is to maximise your survivability with 4 Blitzers, max 1 runner, 1-2 witches.
